Brad Fusco is Chief of Party (COP) for the USAID/Ethiopia Learning Analytics Activity.
As the COP on LAA, Brad is responsible for overarching vision and leadership of the project. Serving as the main liaison with USAID, Brad provides technical direction, manages implementation of the activities and collaborates with various stakeholders in LAA.
Brad served as the Home Office Technical Director before taking the role of Chief of Party on LAA and provided guidance and support to a portfolio of projects, including the Implementer-Led Design, Evidence, Analysis & Learning Activity (IDEAL) and the Catalyst and Wadata Projects.
Brad is economic and business advisor with 17 years of experience helping public and private sector clients to foresee and respond to industry and market dynamics by developing strategies, transforming operating models, and optimizing performance. He supports leaders to set direction, as well as managers and staff to lead change and drive impact.
Prior to joining the Kaizen Company, Brad was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company with an industry focus on healthcare and a functional focus on organizational development, as well as the Component Leader of a flagship USAID economic growth program with responsibility for investment promotion, business association development, microfinance, business development services, and tourism development.
Brad holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Columbia Business School, a master’s degree in international affairs from the Columbia School of International & Public Affairs, and a bachelor’s degree from Amherst College. He has lived and worked in the Middle East, East Asia, and South America. Brad has been a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a member of the Economic Club of New York, a USAID Emerging Market Development Advisor, and a Luce Scholar.
