Hanoof is a MEL Specialist at USAID MELA.
With over eight years of experience in the development sector, she possesses expertise in various fields, including education development, political economy, and economic vulnerability, focusing on the Jordanian and Syrian contexts. She has collaborated with key stakeholders, including government entities, donors, and international non-governmental organizations (INGOs).
Hanoof’s professional skill set is comprehensive, encompassing qualitative and quantitative research, monitoring and evaluation, project design, and stakeholder engagement. Hanoof has played a crucial role in conducting research analysis for multiple studies, final reports, and factsheets.
Hanoof has led numerous in-depth focus group discussions and key informant interviews in various settings throughout her career. Furthermore, her work has delved into topics such as tracking the progress and transformations in the Jordanian education sector, addressing socioeconomic concerns related to climate and agriculture in Syria, and conducting an analysis of Night Light Reflection (NLR) in primary Syrian industrial zones. Hanoof holds a Master of Science degree in Middle East Economics, which she attained from Philipps-Universität Marburg, Germany.
