Abigail Young is a Senior Program Management Coordinator at the Kaizen Company where she provides support to USAID-sponsored development projects around the world.
She is currently supporting the Pakistan Capacity Development Services (PCDS) project, OTI Middle East Regional Support (MENARS) project, and the Uganda Organizational Development Activity (ODA) project. Abigail is also involved in Kaizen’s strategic initiatives in gender and inclusion.
Prior to joining Kaizen, Abigail worked as a community organizer at her local abortion fund as well as supported community engagement at her local refugee resettlement agency. She has experience in both grant writing and international work through her work with a network of anti-poverty NGOs and grassroot groups, involving both national and European organizations.
Abigail currently holds a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University in Global Studies and Human Rights with a minor in Political Science and is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Global Gender Policy at George Washington University.
