Imran brings over 30 years of extensive experience across the private and public sectors, donor-funded programs, and international organizations. He specializes in designing and implementing programs focused on Economic Growth (EG), Private Sector Development (PSD), Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and Trade and Investment (T&I) Promotion, with additional expertise in Policy and Regulatory Reforms across the Agriculture, Industry, and Services sectors.
For more than a decade, Imran has worked directly with leading implementing partners (IPs) on highly successful USAID-funded projects in Pakistan and internationally, primarily driving economic growth in the agriculture sector while championing women and youth empowerment. Previously, he led multimillion-dollar bilateral trade and investment initiatives for UNIDO/Italian Development Cooperation and the British Government, delivering impactful development outcomes.
Imran holds a master’s in public policy, an MBA in Management, and an Advanced Certificate in International Trade (ACIT). Imran’s career has been enriched through extensive international travel and participation in a wide range of global management and leadership training programs.
