Ishaq is a development sector professional with more than a decade of monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) experience. He has worked with international donor-funded programs, including USAID, The World Bank, and UN funded projects. He has extensive experience of conducting MEL assignments in Pakistan, Malaysia and the United States.
He currently holds two master’s degrees, one in project management and the other in applied statistics with academic awards. His volunteer activities include teaching at the Global Language Network (GLN) in Washington, DC, and conducting training and sessions on MEL related topics for international professionals in the US and abroad.
As Director MEL, he leads the implementation of robust monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems to track project performance, assess outcomes, and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
